Dasatinib is an oral Bcr-Abl tyrosine kinase inhibitor (inhibits the "Philadelphia chromosome") and Src family tyrosine kinase inhibitor approved for first line use in patients with chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML) and Philadelphia chromosome-positive acute lymphoblastic leukemia (Ph+ ALL).
